Stage 1 : Developing the fundamentals of the game
Your cricket journey with Gecko starts here! Where we focus on developing the fundamentals of the game. Our vision is to nurture cricketers who are not just skilled but also adaptable, thoughtful, and well-rounded individuals, both on and off the field.

Camp Hours: 10am-3pm (with the flexibility of drop-off starting from 9am at no extra cost)
Ages: Open to boys and girls aged 6-11
Skill Level: Whether you’re new to cricket or preparing to transition to hard ball cricket, this course is suitable for all.
Coach-to-Player Ratio: Enjoy personalised attention with a 1:8 ratio.
Grouping: Players will be grouped by age and skill level for tailored coaching.
Booking Options: Choose from individual day bookings or the full course.
What to Bring: Pack your lunch, refreshments, caps/hats, sunscreen, and waterproofs to stay comfortable throughout the day.
Prizes: Exciting awards await our young cricketers every week to celebrate their achievements.
Our coaching team consists of professional coaches, many with a professional cricket background. They are all enhanced DBS checked, first aid trained, and have completed safeguarding training as a minimum.
Our coaches prioritize building rapport, active listening, using their intuition, asking thoughtful questions, and providing constructive feedback. Each day at our camp is unique, catering to the varied needs of our cricketers. The program is designed to teach new skills, foster new friendships, and ensure a great time for all.
Prepare for any weather conditions if the camp is outdoors. While our coaches have spare sunscreen, we recommend bringing a hat. In case of wet or cold weather, come prepared with waterproofs, a coat, and dry clothes to change into. Gecko has a range of wet-weather procedures in place, ensuring that the cricket spirit remains high, regardless of the weather conditions.

Cricketers will need to be prepared for whatever weather conditions are on the day, if the course is outdoors. The coaches will have spare sun cream but we recommend bringing a hat. In the event of wet or cold weather, we advise you to bring waterproofs, a coat and dry clothes to change into. Gecko has a number of wet weather procedures in place should the course experience inclement weather ranging from fielding games, incredi-ball tournaments, tactical time changes and cricket quizzes to name a few.
