Gecko Soft-Ball Cricket Camps 

Stage 1. Developing the Fundamentals of the game!

Our vision is to develop highly skilled, adaptable and thoughtful cricketers who strive to be the very best version of themselves , on and off the field!

Join us this summer at the following venues

Cheltenham College | St Edwards Oxford | Dean Close School | St Hughs School | Cirencester Cricket Club | Lechlade Cricket Club

Timings – 10am-3pm (drop off available from 9am at no extra charge)

Ages – boys and girls from 6-11 years old

Ability – this course is suitable for either those who are new to cricket or those preparing to transition to hard ball cricket

Coach:Player Ratio – 1:8

Groups – players will be grouped on age and or ability

Booking – Option to book individual days or full course

What to bring – lunch, refreshments, caps/hats, sunscreen, waterproofs

Prizes – awards every week

Our coaching team are all professional coaches (most of whom have played or coached in a professional environment). Our coaches are all enhanced DBS checked, first aid trained and have attended safeguarding training as a minimum.

The coaches will aim to build rapport, listen as well as use their intuition, ask effective questions and give constructive feedback. 

Each day of each camp is different, as the makeup and needs of our cricketers will vary. The programme is designed to teach our cricketers new skills, help them make new friends and have a great time doing so.

After our soft-ball cricket camps, this is the next stop on your journey with Gecko.

Gecko Masterclass  

Stage 3. Testing the Fundamentals of the game!

After cricket camps, the Gecko Masterclass is your final stop on your holiday cricket journey with Gecko . Our vision is to develop highly skilled, adaptable and thoughtful cricketers who strive to be the very best version of themselves , on and off the field!

Timings – 10am-3pm 

Ability – this course is suitable for performance players between the ages of 11 – 18 years old

Coach:Player Ratio – 1:5

The sessions are player centred and skill specific.

Gecko Multisport

Igniting a passion for Sport. It’s a way of life!

The Gecko MULTI-SPORT courses run from 10am-3pm, with drop-off from 9am.
Participants are grouped by age and ability.

The Gecko MULTISPORT course encompasses the Gecko ethos of learning new, basic skills and honing current ones in a fun, safe environment. Gecko coaches will tailor the course to the needs of the participants by taking them through a variety of different sports and sports-appropriate activities the coaching team feels the participants will benefit from the most. Gecko coaching aims to initiate a passion for sports that participants will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Variations of the following sports may be included in the camp: tennis, hockey, quick cricket, football, tag-rugby, netball/basketball, athletics, and badminton.
