Our coaching team are all professional coaches (most of whom have played or coached in a professional environment). Our coaches are all enhanced DBS checked, first aid trained and have attended safeguarding training as a minimum.

The coaches will aim to build rapport, listen, use their intuition, ask effective questions and give constructive feedback.

Each day of each camp is different, as the makeup and needs of our cricketers will vary. The programme is designed to teach our cricketers new skills, help them make new friends and have a great time doing so.

Each day is broken down into three sessions - like a test match. Over the course of the camp we will deliver
Batting | Bowling | Throwing | Catching | Strength and conditioning | Teamwork | Communication | Spirit of cricket

Technical | Tactical | Physical | Emotional | Mental

Cricketers will need to be prepared for whatever weather conditions are on the day if the camp is outdoors. The coaches will have spare sun cream but we recommend bringing a hat. In the event of wet or cold weather, we advise you to bring waterproofs, a coat and dry clothes to change into. Gecko has a number of wet weather procedures in place should the course experience inclement weather ranging from fielding games, incredi-ball tournaments, tactical time changes and cricket quizzes to name a few.

We look forward to sharing our knowledge and helping all our cricketers develop their skills in a fun environment
